Malabsorption syndrome in young pullets
Malabsorption syndrome (MAS), especially in broilers, has been reported in
several countries. It causes significant losses to the industry due to the
retardation of growth in birds. In India, we are seeing MAS become a major
problem in the young replacement pullets since it is associated with heavy
mortality and poor response to the treatment.
