Newcastle disease revisited
The attention of the world's poultry producers has been
dominated by avian influenza during the past five years, obscuring the
significance of Newcastle disease (NCD) as a widespread and economically
significant infection. NCD can be present clinically in a number of forms,
generally classified as velogenic viscerotropic, moderately pathogenic with
respiratory signs or a mild respiratory condition.
