Pakistan's health ministry calls for poultry price reduction
Pakistan's ministry of health has requested that the Pakistan Poultry
Association (PPA) take immediate steps to reduce poultry prices and to bring it
back within reach of the ordinary people.
Following the ministry's request the PPA met and decided that association
representatives, traders and the district government would supervise the daily
auction of poultry at Tollinton Market, Lahore. An average price would be set,
