Huge egg production plant planned by Sharjah

A massive egg production plant has been announced by the Sharjah Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC) with the aim of meeting high local demand.

The SADC said in a statement that it would construct a 1 mln sq ft production plant, worth $32.6 mln. Over a 2 year period the project will be constructed in 4 phases at Seeh Al-Lebsa.
The plant, on completion, will have a total daily output of 3,500 cartons of eggs.
