Protein and fat seminar announced
The 2008 Poultry Protein and Fat Seminar will be held 9-10 October at the
Doubletree Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
The Poultry & Egg Institute of the US Poultry & Egg Association
announces the seminar, which it says aims to provide members of the poultry
industry with up-to-date information about poultry conversion, as well as the
latest technology and management techniques in converting inedible products into
valuable feed components.
Topics in the programme include energy efficiency in rendering plants,
water conservation and reuse, producing biodiesel from poultry fat, and odour
control.
