4th edition of Poultry World is now online
The latest edition on Poultry World is now available online. In this issue you will find an interview with Delacon CEO Markus Dedl, an article on the true cost of Mycoplasma synoviae and how AI is affecting Ukrainian poultry exports.
In this issue of the magazine editor Fabian Brockötter talks to Delacon CEO Markus Dedl. He commissioned a survey among millennial foodies to get insights into their take on food production. In doing so Dedl hopes to learn more on consumer behavior and by doing so, stepping out of his comfort zone of focusing on botanical feed additives alone. “It is essential to know for my company and our customers what makes the world go round on a consumers level.”

From Austria we fly to South Africa, where we commissioned a farm report with Mike Bosch, who cross bred his own poultry variety, called the ‘Boschveld breed’. This chicken can resist the harshest climates and disease challenges and provide eggs, meat and income to the poorest regions in Africa.

We further feature articles from the Ukraine and Denmark, as well as in-depth technical articles on breeders and hatchery.
