A new association, the Union of Arab Poultry Producers, has been formed and comprises representatives from the various poultry producer associations in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Bahrain Algeria, Morocco and the UAE.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi in the UAE, the Union of Arab Poultry Producers, a non-profit organisation, will aim to help the poultry farmers in the Arab countries enhance production of poultry and eggs through workshops, training events, and conferences. Membership is open to poultry farmers, poultry associations, and related research centres throughout the Arab world.

The Union of Arab Poultry Producers will be officially launched at the second edition of EuroTier Middle East in March 2022 in Abu Dhabi UAE, where more than 1,000 poultry producers from various Arab countries are expected. Representatives from the various poultry producer associations and unions will gather to hold the first general assembly and elect a Board and a President.
