With the aim of educating consumers about the practice of “plumping” poultry products with salt water, Foster Farms launches the website

The website features Martha and Betsy, two talkative, 100% natural chickens engaged in weighing (no pun intended) the pros and cons of getting some plumping done.

Foster Farms does not inject its fresh poultry products labelled “100% Natural”, and through this campaign it wishes to provide consumers with plumping facts and figures, how to detect a plumper, links to health resources and an interactive “Plumpinator” calculator to help site visitors calculate how much money they spend on saltwater from plumped chicken each year.
