Nomadic duck farming welcomed by rice growers
Following the economic crisis in 1997-98, many Thais returned to the rural areas to find work. Some of them started a new way of living by operating a duck farming business. They revived the ancient tradition of growing ducks in rice paddy fields; many with success.
