Optimising anticoccidial vaccine efficacy in broilers (2003 special, coccidiosis 4)
Successful use
of an anticoccidial vaccine is not simply a matter of administering it to chicks
and forgetting about it. In order to achieve protective immunity with the best
economic performance, the vaccination procedure must be carefully controlled,
uptake and immunity must be monitored and a strategy must be developed to ensure
the general health and welfare of the growing birds and the quality of their
environment.
