Protein demand drives poultry production

The global population is increasing and at present stands at 6.4 billion people. In 2030, however, it will become 8.1 billion and in 2050 it will reach 9 billion. In addition, the purchasing power of the population increases. What causes this increase and who will be the main players in the future?
